Phoned late for accommodation availability and arrived at 10pm. The young man who showed me to the accommodation was very friendly and courteous. The room was basic but all facilities were very clean. The room was a modest price, bed very comfortable and the room completely quiet. Well recommended for the single traveller.
Went for a bday dinner and had a good time. There is options here for vegeterian as well as gluten free. Food was tasty and size was OK, did order chips with my sweet potato rosti and enjoyed it. It wasn't super busy during our time there and this isn't a complaint but the coffee after our meals took a while longer to get then expected. The staff were great and served with a smile, and provided colouring in sheets for the kids which was excellent to keep them busy.
Nice bar, good atmosphere but you can get better food elsewhere in Ballarat
Nice pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor tables. Porterhouse steak was cooked well, was tender and delicious. Can't fault it. Would recommend it.
Nice venue. Had to go for a work lunch. Would be dice if they offered more plant based options as pretty much everything had meat, eggs or dairy.Would definitely return if the menu expanded to include more veggie dishes.
