We had a BBQ in the park. Such a lovely place for family and friends to get together

DEFINITELY WORTH A VISIT TO BETTER UNDERSTAND AUSTRALIA'S EARLY CIVIL RIGHTS / DEMOCRACY The Eureka Centre is best known as the home of the Eureka Flag - a potent symbol of worker rights and rejection of autocracy. There are high quality displays and an onsite cafe (which is OK without being great). Usually an entry fee but recently when there it was under renovation and the fee was waved. An hour is plenty of time to explore for most people (history buffs may want to spend longer).

So enjoyed the visit here as to me it was a must for Australian History. The Oral Histories. Artifacts ( The Southern Cross Flag the Highlight) and Actual Memorial . Not sure I agree with the Inclusions of other countries within it's walls. However I do understand the signifance of how it's related. Its a must to visit as part of our country Great Heritage and early struggles. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic interactive displays. Very informative. Excellent playground and gardens.

Museum open our eyes for what happened to the poor miners more than 150 years ago. A lot of electronic displays that tell you the history. Museum promotes freedom, democracy, and equality. Highly recommend.
