Day surgery today for my son. Lovely staff everywhere today from when he was admitted to discharge. Mr Niall McConchies staff in his rooms were wonderful too!!- Thankyou all Simone
We had our baby there, most staff are great. The night duty staff where rude and didn't have a lot of knowledge about Babies and Breast feeding. Luckily we were with Balkarat IVF they had a say in who looked after us and tried to get us the better staff. BALLARAT IVF 12/10 the hospital are under a lot of stress and seemed like under staffed. Majority of times when I needed a nurse there was a code blue. I don't think nurses should be working 2 services at once. They are very busy but I think high dependency need there staff and maternity there ow nurses.
Currently taking care of my dear friend after open heart surgery. Cannot find any fault. Friendly staff. Extremely clean. Spacious rooms. Many thanks to all staff.
The worst hospital experience possible. Post operation I was left bleeding for three hours due to a mismanaged or faulty cannula, resulting in extensive loss of blood. My clothing, bed and floor were saturated in blood. My blood pressure then dropped dramatically resulting in an emergency response. I have received no explanation or apology for the episode and in fact they have been attempting to deny the serious nature of the incident. In a less healthy person this could have been fatal.
