Best vanilla slices, we travelled from South Australia and it was well worth the trip
Ordered Devonshire tea and a steak pie. What we received was one scone with a packet jam and cream and the pie was a mince pie not steak with sauce for 50c (just put some sauce in bottles and give your customers free sauce, they are already purchasing other items). Both very ordinary. Devonshire tea is scones (two) with a pot of tea, quite simple one would have thought. When ordering a steak pie one would expect it to have pieces of steak not some dirty mince. The staff were very nice and helpful, the shop was presented well. But our experience was very ordinary.
Went there today, first time. Vanilla Slice and Bee Sting are to die for. Freshest ingredients makes delicious cakes and what a bargain. We got there about 4pm on Sunday and the vanilla slice and fresh cream cakes $1 each!!!! Keep up the great work and open a franchise near me (Near Doncaster)
Best vanilla slice ever. Crunchy but soft base,That light fluffy filling, and iceing - just right. Delightful.
The drive through at Golden Nugget is very convenient and the staff are really friendly. Jodie is the nicest person and always happy. I've never had to wait too long but obviously there are busy times. The menu is typically bakery and you can also get the daily paper.
