We liked it. Very friendly and obliging staff. Food was lovely and fresh. Reasonable prices too !
What a nice surprise finding this place! Kids were starving and did NOT want noodles!! Staff extremely helpful and gave kids really nice pieces of chicken and Jasmine rice which they inhaled. I chose the Tom Yum which was really tasty. Kids were given colouring in and were doted over and praised for eating their lunch and their drawing. Clean nice unisex toilet.
Nice Thai place in the middle of Ballarat. Last place I expect a good Thai restaurant. Reasonably priced meals.
Sometimes you are lucky enough to stumble upon a gem of a place when you weren't looking for it. Gar Gor was one of those places for us, during our overnight stay in Ballarat. Amazing. The most authentic Thai food I have experienced outside of Thailand. Very tasty dishes. Try the Siamese watercress and the crab meat fried rice and you'll see what I mean. Top notch fish cakes with traditional sauce too. Such lovely staff looked after us well as well :-)
