I have always found the service at this Pharmacy to be excellent. Always quick, never have to wait too long but are always available and happy to give advice when I've needed it.
Have just waited for 2hrs to get a script from eureka medical then called into pharmacy downstairs on the way out to have it filled, all good until l got home and realised how much l was charged, rang the pharmacy to query the price as l have been on this script for a minimum of 2yrs and never payed that amount before. Lady l spoke to told me she would put me through to the pharmacist which didnt happen as she came back onto the phone and told me the price was correct, apparently they are a FAMILY OWNED pharmacy and they are not subsided by the government......that is entirely up to them but perhaps a sign stating that so customers are aware prior to being charged an EXTRA $10 on their script, a couple of dollars extra for convience of it being located with the doctors but an extra 1/3 of the the script price is just being greedy.So if you happen to have a concession card be prepared to pay full price. Im sorry eureka medical pharmacy but there will be no more profits made from me!!
I am highly appalled by this pharmacys customer service that left my sister distraught and in tears after being scammed into paying for an item that they did not give to her by Hugh Millikan (owner) and staff. At around 9pm Monday the 10th of September 2018; my sister obtained a receipt clearly stating proof of purchasing prescribed medication and other items from this pharmacy, however discovered when she got home that her medication was not in the bag the lady gave her. After searching everywhere she drove all the way back to the pharmacy to ask if she left her medication there and the lady who originally served her was determined that the medication was put in the bag she gave her or that my sister must of lost it somewhere in her car or elsewhere. My sister kindly asked the lady to check the video surveillance footage for piece of mind and the lady refused too!!! She was adamant that she handed over my sister her medication. So my sister left the pharmacy extremely upset and disappointed that the service was unhelpful, the least they could have done was check the video surveillance footage or acknowledge that they may have made a mistake. I took matters into my own hands as my sister was crying uncontrollably and could not speak. I rang the pharmacy at 10pm and spoke to Hugh Millikan (who advised me that he is the owner) and explained the situation. Hugh was present at the time and insisted that his staff did give my sister her medication and told me that checking the video surveillance is too difficult and that he will check in the morning when he has more time. This is ludicrous and highly unprofessional!! My sister needed her medication that were prescribed by her Doctor who she visited only minutes prior to going to this pharmacy purely because its the only pharmacy and medical centre that opens late in Ballarat/surrounding areas yet is now told to wait another day having no immediate proof that they have given out her medication or not. 15 minutes later I received a call back from Hugh apologising and saying that my sister was right and his staff did not give her the medication she had paid for.This issue is certainly not about money, the issue is the lack of effort Hugh Millikan and staff made in accounting to their customers needs whether its something so simple like checking the video surveillance footage. They were degrading and making myself and my sister feel stupid having them not provide any proof to support their claims yet still insisted we were wrong. I am incredibly disappointed and will not be returning.
I've found this to be the best pharmacy. You can call or call in to ask questions and the staff are really helpful. I refer people here regularly.
